The UK ACRO Criminal Record Certificate is an official document issued by the ACRO Criminal Records Office of the UK Police Association to prove that the applicant has no criminal record in the UK and is applicable to transnational affairs such as immigration, study abroad, and international work. If you need to buy a fake ACRO Police Certificate, please let us know.
How long does ACRO police certificate take?
Applicants who have lived in the UK for six consecutive months or who have transnational affairs need to obtain a certificate of no criminal record issued by the Association of Chief Police Officers Criminal Records Office (ACRO) or the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). This document is the core basis for personal background checks and is widely used in immigration approval, professional qualification review, and long-term residence permits.
Issuing authority: Issued by the ACRO (Criminal Records Office) of the Association of Chief Police Officers of England, Wales and Northern Ireland, which searches the criminal records database using the applicant’s name, date of birth, home address and other basic information. If the applicant has no criminal record, the report will be marked as “No Trace”.
International applicability: Unlike the certificate of no criminal record issued by the Criminal Records Bureau (DBS) of the British government, the ACRO certificate is designed for international affairs and is applicable to transnational immigration, study abroad, work visa application and other scenarios, and is recognized by most countries in the world.
Scope: Only contains criminal records of the applicant in the UK, and does not involve non-criminal punishment information such as warnings and admonitions (in contrast to the comprehensive review of the DBS certificate).
Validity: Determined by the user, but Chinese institutions usually require documents to be issued within 6 months.
Apostille: If the document is to be used in China, it must first be apostilled by the UK Foreign Office or its authorized agency to prove the authenticity of the signature and seal on the document. The apostille process usually takes 8-10 working days, but can be shortened to 2-3 working days for urgent cases.
If the target language is not English, a certified translation is required (e.g. a Chinese translation must be translated and stamped by a regular translation company in China).
